From the American Rifleman mag. The story is from the 1950s, but still good and could have happened to me, *lol*
Watch out for Strong Tobacco-
“I have learned that it is a mistake to carry a loose .22 caliber cartridge in the same pocket with my pipe. The cartridge apparently found its way into the bowl of the pipe, which I then loaded with tobacco, a form of double loading that is not too good. (:-)) The explosion that followed a few moments after I lighted the pipe was loud and, needless to say, unexpected. The burst cartridge case was found, but not the bullet. No one was hurt.”
